After walking around Main Street in Ventura today, I stumbled across Moby’s on Main and man… what a fun surprise. This place took me straight back to the good old days. It’s basically a mini arcade with a super cool vibe, and I ended up playing pinball for quite a while. Grabbed a nice cold beverage, played some games, and honestly just had a great time. It’s one of those spots where you can hang out, burn some time, and have real fun without needing a big plan. I wasn’t in the mood for sweets today, but I already know I’ll be back soon for that Thrifty ice cream too! If you’re on Main Street and want something different and nostalgic, check this place out — I’ll definitely be back. ✅ This place rocks — Local Love Approved.

First of all, this might be the coolest place to hang out on Main St. Secondly, there is almost always great punk rock or nostalgic emo music playing. Thirdly, the staff is super courteous and helpful. (Case in point, I left my Nintendo Switch Lite here one night and they kept it safe for me and had it next day!) Last time I came, I got invited to play in the Mario Kart tournament. I wasn't very experienced, and I had only $2, but the people who I played with covered me and we all had a blast. I won 2nd place, $5 and $3 cash back. I feel the staff was being kind to me because I told them after I paid to enter that I couldn't afford to load my game card that day due to financial hardships. Everyone was just really nice and I had fun. You should come to Moby's. It's a visual treat and there's something for everyone. You have claw machines (yes, you can win, I have gotten at least 3 prizes), no lose claw machines (candy and ducks), pinball machines of all varietes, Pokémon cards, delicious and affordable ice cream (matcha was so good!), Dig Dug (love that game), older arcade machines, a punching machine, air hockey and basketball hoops and occasionally live music, which is a staple for Main St. They really thought of everything! Thanks for making a memorable place and always showing kindness. Please add new plushies to the claw machines! Round 1 Arcade is coming and they will be competitive! 👾🕹️🤍✨
