One of my favorite spots in the South Side! I've been to Velum as an event host, an event attendee, and a regular customer, and Velum has been awesome every time. The owners are so friendly and clearly care about being a space for community on top of making great drinks. It's spacious with tons of things to do, and their partner food truck, Cold Friends Kitchen, has some amazing grub. Definitely a Pittsburgh staple in my book!

I can't talk highly of Velum enough. Not only do they make great beer and provide a fun space to relax in, they have become integral for the South Side Community. They brought back the south side farmers market, host community events, provide an inclusive environment for all interests and ages; the list goes on. I love talking to the owners, and the staff always super friendly. I'd give them more stars on here if I could.
